Certified Organic Summer CSA

Our Certified Organic CSA ~ Community Supported Agriculture ~ is filled each week with amazing fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit. CSA is an excellent way to:

• eat fresh and nutritious produce, 
• eat seasonally and try new produce, 
• support local farmers and foods, 
• minimize food waste, and 
• save money as just harvested produce stays fresher much, much longer. 

Ordering: CSA sign-up opens in February until filled (typically, late March)

Available: Late June - August

Pick-up Time: Day & Time for 2025 is TBA

Location: The Boreal Farm, Duluth, MN 

• Season will be 8 weeks between June - August
• Certified organic CSA share will be a bountiful 6 - 7 items
• Core share will typically consist of: salad greens, root vegetables, fruiting vegetables, alliums, brassicas, and culinary herbs.
• Cost averages $25 per week
• Additional produce will be available à la carte
• Your order will be ready to pick up TBA at The Boreal Farm
• Always keeping plastics and packaging at a minimum: you will need drop off two 28 quart coolers at the beginning of the season; then rotating these each week by picking up a full one and dropping off a clean, empty one

An email will be sent out each week as a reminder with a farm updates.

Note: a clean 28 quart cooler (only size we accept) with your name on the top and front, for us to fill and have ready to pick-up each week. Our past members have found this to be a super way to pick up their share and keep it fresh for hours from the summer heat. A 28 qt cooler is the same size as the typical grocery bag.
