CAREERS AT THE BOREAL FARM

Build Something That Lasts

Meaningful farming requires more than effort. It requires leadership, care, and long-term thinking. We are building a systems-driven farm designed to endure, and we are seeking individuals committed to agriculture as a profession and a way of life.

Work with Us

The Boreal Farm is built on the belief that meaningful work comes from caring for land, producing food with integrity, and building systems designed to last.

We are a small, systems-driven farm rooted in Northeastern Minnesota, focused on vegetable production, season extension, and long-term stewardship.

We hire thoughtfully and intentionally, seeking individuals who approach agriculture as a profession and stewardship as a responsibility.

Farm Manager Position

We are currently hiring a Farm Manager to help lead day-to-day farm operations and steward crop production systems at The Boreal Farm. This is a full-time, year-round position responsible for managing field production, season extension infrastructure, and supporting light farm sales and operational coordination.

This role is central to the farm’s long-term stability and growth, and is for an experienced grower who approaches farming as a profession and stewardship as a responsibility.

What It Means to Work Here

Working at The Boreal Farm means participating in something long-term. It means stewarding land through changing seasons, solving problems as they arise, and contributing to a farm designed to grow stronger each year.

Our work is not built on urgency, but on consistency. Not on shortcuts, but on systems. We value responsibility, clear thinking, and care: for the land, the food we produce, and the people we work alongside.

This is a place for individuals who take pride in their craft and want to build something meaningful season over season.
